FAQ

Questions about Cosso for legal

Can I dictate into our case management software?
Yes, if it accepts typed text. Cosso types wherever your cursor is, including Word, Outlook and browser-based systems.
Does it change legal wording?
No. It writes what you said, with citations, Latin phrases and party names spelled correctly. It doesn't rephrase or add arguments.
I practise in England. Will it use US terms?
Cosso writes the words you say. With your country set to the UK, it uses the UK list, so claim forms, Part 36 offers and the King's Bench Division are spelled correctly.
Is client information stored?
Audio never leaves your computer. With AI editing on, the dictated text passes through our server and a model provider and isn't stored. With AI editing off, nothing is sent.
